Click this link or the Appointments tab on the main page. Enter your student account information, then select the blue “Make an Appointment” on the following page.
From the first drop down box options, go to the bottom and select “Tutoring” as the type of appointment.
*If you are using a mobile device, you may not be able to see the Tutoring option until you scroll down on the options.
Select the type of writing tutoring (general writing tutoring or departmental tutoring under the HCC 4th Floor Writing Center) Location.
Select the desired date, then hit the blue “Find available time” button. A list of tutor availabilities will be generated. Select the desired time of your appointment, read the appointment details, then click on the “Virtual Appointment” option from the drop down box.
Near the time of your appointment, a tutor will send an email to your UT student email. This email will contain the Zoom link; if you are having problems with the Zoom application, visit their website.
The Writing Center’s goal is to develop better writers, not better papers. We offer supplemental instruction to help students develop their writing skills through feedback and idea generation. We do not accept papers and return them with feedback.
